- Retreat Information: Hidden Villa retreats will be like being at an outdoor camp. The terrain of Hidden Villa is more rugged than IRC. Rooms for residential retreats will be dormitory style.
- Deposit: A refundable deposit via credit card is required to reserve a space in the retreat. Your card will only be charged if: (1) you are accepted into the retreat and cancel after the cancellation deadline, (three weeks before the start of the retreat), or (2) you are accepted into the retreat and do not attend.

- Generosity: Our retreats are offered as part of a culture of generosity. We are all joining to put on a retreat. A silent mindfulness retreat with alternating sitting and walking meditation, instruction, dharma talks, work meditation, and practice discussion with the teachers. Suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners.
This retreat is offered on a dana basis with no registration fee. There will be an opportunity to donate to the teachers.

This silent Insight meditation retreat offers a precious opportunity to slow down, attune to the rhythms of the natural world, and explore practices of deep listening—to both our inner nature and the world around us—in the company of other practitioners who identify as women. Join us as we nourish our bodies, minds, and hearts together in community at Hidden Villa, a beautiful organic farm and nature preserve on land originally stewarded by the Olhone tribe. Hidden Villa was founded over 100 years ago by social reformers Frank and Josephine Duveneck, who were avid environmentalists and nature lovers. Today it is a non-profit that offers educational programs in agriculture and ecology to local students.
Our retreat will be held in the hostel, which has a large hall for gathering and a full kitchen, with a screened in porch for dining. There are indoor bathrooms with showers, and yogis will have the option to either set up tents or sleep in shared bunkrooms.
